Howard Daniel Chambers

Howard D. Chambers 87, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his residence.

He was born February 17, 1927 in Port Huron, New York to the Late Josiah and Anna (Rowley) Chambers and has been a resident of the area since 1990 coming from Lake Worth. He was a retired Foreman with General Electric Company in Clifton, New Jersey. Howard was a member of the Optimist Club in Clifton, NJ, he worked at the Eagle Ridge Mall Regal Cinema for 18 years, and he was the Deacon of Northside Christian Reform Church in Clifton and Treasurer for 25 years at First Presbyterian Church of Frostproof where he was also a member
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Chambers in 2009 and 5 siblings.

Survivors include his son, Daniel H. Chambers and wife Stephanie of Lake Wales; 2 grandchildren, Joseph Michael Chambers and wife Staci, Kristin Christensen; 4 great grandchildren, Morgan, Dakota, Nicholas and Destini.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Buzzy Elder and Rev. Bob Murray officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
