Homer D. “Buck” Nine, Sr., 83, passed away at his home in Sebring, Fl. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. He was born May 18, 1932 in Haysville, PA to the late Homer R. and Louise Nine (Ashby). He has lived in the area since 1995 coming from Beaver County, PA. He was the owner / operator of Homer Nine & Sons, Inc. a heating and cooling business. He served his country during the Korean War in the US Army Signal Corps, and was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and Turnes Club in Rochester, PA. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and was an avid stained glass artist making many beautiful pieces for family and friends. He is preceded in death by his previous wife, Nancy Jo Nine and his sister Cleda Wheeler. Survivors include wife Jeannette Nine of Sebring; children: Kimberly Ann Daman of Lagrange, KY; Karen Ann Burns of Beaver, PA; Kris Ann Sestio of Beaver, PA; H. Dale Nine, Jr. of Monaca, PA; and step-children; Mark Kevin Hample, Jr. of Ohioville, PA; Susan Dwyer of Halifax, MA; Gail Connor of Rindge, NH; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March, 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home chapel in Frostproof with Pastor Denny Cothern Officiating.
