Homer "K-9" Cullifer

Homer Cullifer “K-9”, 80 of Frostproof, Florida passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at his residence.

He was born September 27, 1934 in Frostproof, Florida to the late Loy J. and Joyce L. (Respress) Cullifer. He has been a lifelong resident of the area he was a Citrus Harvester for the Lykes Brothers. He enjoyed fishing and was of the Baptist Faith.

He is preceded in death by his brother David Jackson Cullifer.

He is survived by his companion of 37 years Carolyn Dees, daughters Janet Lee Williams of Frostproof, FL, Susan F. Tindle and husband David of Alachua, FL, Brenda Hensen of Frostproof, FL, Jennifer Lee Cullifer of Frostproof, FL, Pamela Joann Durham and husband David of Waverly, FL, sons Loy “Dean” Cullifer and wife Deborah of Frostproof, FL, Steven S. Cullifer of Frostproof, FL, Steven Loy Cullifer of Frostproof, FL, 15 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, April 11, 2015 at The Depot 118 E. Wall Street, Frostproof, Fl. with Casual attire.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Frostproof Youth Ball at P.O. Box 912 Frostproof, Fl. in memory of Homer Cullifer.
