Hilton Eugene Hudgins, 85

Hilton Eugene Hudgins of Lake Wales passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at Lakeland Regional Hospital.

He was born May 26, 1937 in Turner County, Georgia to the late Clifford and Margaret Hudgins. Hilton was a retired salesman for Boulevard Tire Company and of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army who served from 1962 until 1966. Hilton had a love for fishing, in 1991 he won the Bass Masters Classic where he won a bass boat.

Hilton was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Louise Hudgins in January of 2023. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Brooks, Sandy Ferrell, and Sabrina DeVaughn and husband Dennis; son, Sam Hudgins and wife Kris; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Ms. Brooke Ford officiating.
