LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Hildegard U. Cline of Lake Wales died of heart failure Sunday (Jan. 22, 2006) at The Groves Center. She was 80.

Born in Bronx, N.Y., on May 29, 1925, she came to Lake Wales from Royal Palm Beach in 1997. She was a retired teacher for Holy Name School in West Palm Beach.

Mrs. Cline was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn M. Cline. She is survived by her sons, Glenn T. Cline, Lake Wales, Donald Cline, Lantana, Robert Cline, Green Acres, Richard Cline, Millersburg, Ohio, Douglas Cline, Royal Palm Beach; brother, Thomas Fanning, Parkland; sister, Doris McKenna, Huntsville, Ala.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday with a rosary service at 7 p.m. at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach.
