Herman and Mary Lutz
Herman Lutz passed away on March 26,2018 in Albuquerque, NM and Mary followed on March 2, 2025 also in Albuquerque.
Herman was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and Mary was born in Paris, Arkansas. They met each other and were married in 1950, and brought 15 children into the world. And they were the proud grandparents and great grandparents to 78 grand and great grandchildren. They were devout roman Catholics, who were very active in the church and had a passion for dancing. He worked as a plumber and she was a stay-at-home mom until the youngest child was old enough, then she worked at the Broward County Jail in Ft. Lauderdale.
They are preceded in death by their son Richard Lutz who passed away on December 23, 1997.
Survivors include daughters; Nancy Handzel (Phil), Rose Marie Robinson (Ron), Gloria Davis (Tom), Marian Robbins (Dan), Helen Mathews; sons; Herman Lutz III (Barbara), Fred Lutz (Sue), Tom Lutz (Tzivia), Mike Lutz (Charlene), Dan Lutz, David Lutz (Mercedes), Don Lutz (Christy), Dennis Lutz (Mary), and Steve Lutz (Heather); both have brothers and sisters surviving and of course 78 grand and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Lake Wales Cemetery on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Father Eamon McDevitt officiating. Condolences can be sent to the family to www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
