HERBERT FRIEDRICH SCHLENKER, 91
Herbert F. Schlenker of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at his residence.
He was born October 5, 1928 in Black Forest, Germany to the late Friedrich and Sofie (Vötle) Schlenker. He has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Chef and owner of the Black Forest Restaurant. He taught Culinary Art at Webber College, he loved to cook and bake.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Ingrid Schlenker, daughter Monica Dehnert (Paul) of Hendersonville, NC, son Herbert Schlenker (Shelley) of Lake Wales, FL, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many brothers and sisters.
Memorial service will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Wayside Baptist Church.
