HERBERT HERSHNER, 86

Master Carpenter

FROSTPROOF -- Mr. Herbert R. Hershner of Frostproof died of heart failure on Saturday (April 29, 2006) at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 86.

Born in Iberia, Ohio, on Dec. 24, 1919, Mr. Hershner was a winter resident and moved to Frostproof from Waldo, Ohio eight years ago. He was a master carpenter. He was a member of both First Presbyterian Church in Frostproof and Iberia Presbyterian Chuch in Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hershner. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Barbara Gouge, Mountain View, Calif.; 11 step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grand-children;

Services will be next Saturday (May 27, 2006) at 2 p.m. at Snyder Funeral Home in Ohio.
