Henry Wallace

Henry Wallace of Babson Park passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

He was born March 2, 1943 in Wayne County, West Virginia to the late Maryland Wallace and Bessie Watts Wallace; he came here in 1992 from Pontiac, Michigan. He was a retired fork lift driver for General Motors, a member of the First Assembly of God church in Lake Wales and served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Linda Sue Wallace; daughters, Deanna Wallace of Oakland, MI, Cindy Winberry of Babson Park and Amanda Hancock of Babson Park; sons, David Lee Sackman of Vero Beach and Stephen Wallace of Babson Park; brothers, Lewis Wallace of Lake City, FL, Hurston Wallace of Lake Orion, MI and Hezekiah Wallace of Lake City, FL; sister, Polly Berry of West Virginia; and 11 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, January 8, 2010 at the First Assembly of God Church in Lake Wales.
