Henry John Schroeder

Henry John Schroeder of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Dove Health Care.

He was born November 1, 1916 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to the late August & Berth Schroeder; he moved from Frostproof to Lake Wales in 1996. He was a retired freight truck driver, of the Lutheran faith and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Schroeder; daughter, Judy Anderson of Frostproof; sons, Dennis Schroeder of Ladd, IL and Randel Schroeder of Margate; sister, Leona Schroeder of Crescent City, IL; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
