Henry Gomez-Perez

Henry Gomez-Perez of Nalcrest passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring.

He was born December 13, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Enrique & Zoila Gomez; and he came here from Queens, NY in 1995. He was a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service and of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Tin Can Sailors Association and the American Legion Post #8.

Survivors include his wife, Teodosia Gomez; daughters, Jeannette Gomes Rodriguez (Nelson) of AL and Priscilla Gomez Perez of GA; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 10, 2011 and the funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
