Helen L. Mannis

Helen L. Mannis of Frostproof passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at her residence.

She was born April 15, 1943 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Roy Lee Mannis Sr. & Pauline Mills Mannis; she came to the area 45 years ago from Tennessee. She was retired from Citrus Grove Association and was of the Christian faith. She was an avid sports fan.

Survivors include her sons, Jason (Jessica) Mannis of Frostproof and Glen Mannis of Winter Haven; sister, Patsy Springfield of Frostproof; brothers, Paul Mannis Sr. of Dundee, Luther Mannis of Alexandria, VA, Roy Lee Mannis Jr. of Troy, AL and Jimmy Lee Mannis Sr. of Fort Meade; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
