Helen Brown

Helen Brown, 83, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born March 4, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Efstratios and Eugenia (Tambakologou) Stratakos and has been a resident of the area for 19 years moving here from New York. She was a retired Waitress. She liked to go fishing, loved cats, lifetime movies and visiting China town in New York; Helen was a great mother and Grandmother, she was a wonderful listener and was of the Greek Orthodox faith.

She was preceded in death by her son in law, Panagiotis Gikas. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Ann Brown Gikas of Clearwater, Georgiana P. Roos and husband Eugene of Warwick, NY; one grandchild, Michelle Roos.
