Hedra Y. Burke of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
She was born August 26, 1940 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Robert and Maple (Billups) Slater. She has been a resident of the area since 1993 coming from Waverly. She was a Homemaker and a CNA at Dove Healthcare in Lake Wales. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters Terra Lee of Avon Park, FL, Debra Torrence of Titusville, FL, son Robert Burke of Florida, sister Loretta Hulsey of Indiana, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Pentecostal Holiness Church at 312 S. Avon Estates Blvd. Avon Park, FL. 33825
