Hector Caudillo Sanchez, Jr. of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born May 24, 1970 in Freemont, Ohio; he moved to Lake Wales from Burlington, North Carolina 28 years ago. Hector was an air conditioning service technician and was of the Catholic faith. He loved fishing, cooking and was a sarcastic jokester. Hector was loving of everyone and his family was everything to him, he loved being a Poppi.

Hector was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Padilla; brother, Candido Sanchez. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Laura Sanchez; daughters, Bianca Sanchez (Heather) of Winter Haven, Kasey O’Neal (Collin) of Lake Wales, and Krystina Sanchez of Lake Wales; son, Christian Sanchez of Lake Wales; father, Amado Padilla of West Palm Beach; sister, Roberta Sanchez of West Palm Beach; brothers, Greg Sanchez of California, David Sanchez of West Palm Beach, and Cecilio Padilla of West Palm Beach; grandson, Marleaux Sanders; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Michael Lang officiating.
