Heather H. I. McKinley passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Winter Haven Hospital.
Born July 10, 1941 in Cleveland, OH; she came here from Sarasota 20 years ago. She was a photographer and owner of Tails & Top Hats and a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was active in church and taught advance bible study. She enjoyed riding horses, sailing and swimming and played the piano and guitar. She was a musical composer and a student of history and literature.
Heather was a devoted wife to her husband, Malcolm McKinley of Lake Wales; other survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Ruth Deme of Plantation; son, Kenneth R. Isoma of Graham, NC; step-sons, James M. McKinley of Lake Wales, Richard A. McKinley of Lake Wales and William T. “Bill” McKinley of Lakeland; brothers, Arthur Hasse of Mustang, OK and Richard Hasse of Edmond, OK; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until service time at 4:00 PM, Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Walter L. Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
