LAKE WALES--Heath Ryan Horne, 21, of Lake Wales died Wednesday, February 27, 2007.

Born December 31, 1985 in Deland, FL; he came here from Deland 3 years ago. He was a college student at Warner Southern College. He was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Omega Nova Dux and played baseball at Warner Southern, where he was a communications major with a minor in church ministry. He was also a youth minister at Eastside Baptist Church and worked with the youth at Burns Avenue Church of God. He was on the student congress, worked with kids at the Circle F Dude Ranch, volunteered for the emotionally and physically handicapped on horses and worked with physical plant at the college.

Survivors include his parents, David Horne and Carin Marie Clarke of Bristol, VA; brothers, Johan Greene of Deland; Justin Horne of Deland; Chanse Horne of Bristol, VA; and sister, Stacia Bridges of Deland.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, March 02, 2007 and Saturday, March 03, 2007 at the Mario Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 04, 2007 at the South Lake Wales Church of God.
