Hazel Jeannette Boshears, 94

Hazel Jeannette Boshears of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at her residence.

She was born March 22, 1929 in DeFuniak Springs to the late Claudie and Margaret Frazier; she moved to Frostproof from DeFuniak Springs as an infant. Hazel was the owner of P&J’s Recreation and was of the Baptist faith. She loved the color red and lived by the motto “if it ain’t red it ain’t pretty”. Hazel was very sociable and enjoyed being around family and friends.

Hazel was preceded in death by her daughters, Patricia Easton and Margaret Conner; sisters, Helen Roberts and Lillian Killen; brother, Claudie Frazier, Jr.; grandchild, Davina Conner; and great-grandchild, Dalton Dobkins. She is survived by her son, Dave Conner of Frostproof; grandchildren, Charlie Townsel, Joe Townsel, Billie Sue Hutto, Helen Santos, and Brenda Chambers; 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
