Harry Gilbert Waters, 82

Harry Gilbert Waters of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at The Groves Center.

He was born February 12, 1941 in Lake Wales to the late Clifford and Margaret Waters; he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired mechanic and served in the U.S. National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing cars ad spending his time outdoors. He was an avid Gator’s fan.

Harry was preceded in death by his sons, Clinton Waters and Samuel Waters; and a brother, Franklin Waters. Survivors include his sister, Thelma Medley of Lake Wales; grandchildren, Caleb Waters, Tayler Waters, Brittany Waters, Briauna Waters, Dustin Waters and Bailey Waters; great-grandchildren, Bhodi and Alaya; nieces and nephews, Christopher Medley, Deana Brown, Shane Waters and Angela Waters.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at Whidden Cemetery.
