Harry Thomas Hawley, Jr.

Harry Thomas Hawley, Jr. of Babson Park passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born July 27, 1942 in Huron, South Dakota to the late Harry Thomas & Grace Ellen (Bussell) Hawley; he came here from Rhode Island in 1983. He was a retired dispatcher for the Frostproof Police Department, of the Presbyterian faith and a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Navy for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine G. Hawley; sons, Wayne Hawley (Charlotte) of Lakeland, FL and Rhedd Hawley of Providence, RI; sisters, Jean Clark of Wessington, SD, Joyce Zerfoss of Wessington, SD, Beth Miller of Chandler, AZ and Carol Smith of Uma, AZ; brothers, Raymond Hawley of San Diego, CA and Jake Hawley of Fort Myers, FL; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
