Born March 25, 1930 in Sutland, Maryland, he worked as a printer in the printing industry and for Senator J.R. Reynolds. He came to Lake Wales in 1962 from Orlando, FL.
He preceded in death by his wife,
Barbara Bowman and a son Gregory Bowman. He is survived by step daughter Brenda Clary of Ft. Myers, daughters: Alice Johnson of Valdosta, GA, Valerie Lynn Bowman Duke of Frostproof; Sons:
William Billy Bowman of Ft. Myers and Bruce Clayton Bowman, Valdosta, GA.
