Harriett Tucker Dies In Haines City at 100
HAINES CITY -- Mrs. Harriett I. Tucker of Haines City died of heart failure Tuesday (April 4, 2006) at Haines City Health Care. She was 100.
Born in New York on Feb. 27, 1906, she came to Haines City from Sanford, Maine, 10 years ago. She was a retired accountant for State University of New York. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Haines City.
Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Tucker Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Brady, Middletown, N.Y. and Haines City; son, John R. Tucker III, Haines City; sister, Gertrude Morris, Lindenhurst, N.Y.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church of Haines City.
