Hansaben Patel passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at AdventHealth Sebring Hospital. Hansaben is survived by her husband, Vitthal “Victor” Patel; her two children, Dipa (Robert) Patel, and Dipak (Katie) Patel, both of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters; and two brothers.

Hansaben was born in Sarsa, Gujarat, in India on October 17, 1957, to the late Bhala and Revaben Patel. Hansaben lived most of her life in Illinois, and moved to Frostproof, Florida, in 2019. Hansaben was a loving mother and a homemaker. Hansaben loved to laugh and was a child at heart. She excelled at board games and puzzles, and enjoyed sharing these pastimes with her children. Hansaben was resilient and resourceful.
