LAKE WALES -- Mr. Hamilton August "Ham" Underwood of Lake Wales died of cancer Saturday (April 22, 2006) at Haines City Heath Care. He was 89.

Born March 31, 1917, in Chicago, he came to Lake Wales from Orlando 18 months ago. He was an auto mechanic.

Mr. Underwood is survived by his sons, William G. Underwood, Ronald L. Underwood and Hamilton M. Underwood.
