Hal Edwin Buettner, II, 77

Hal Edwin Buettner, II of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Advent Health Davenport.

He was born March 7, 1944 in Torrance, California, to the late Hal and Clarese Buettner; he moved to Lake Wales from Houston, Texas 37 years ago. Hal was a retired staff sergeant for the United States Government and a veteran of the United States National Guard. He loved his family more than anything.

Hal is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dorothy Buettner; daughters, Lana Duarte (David) of Nashville, Tennessee, and Stephanie Buettner of Phoenix, Arizona; son, Hal Edwin Buettner, III (Michele); sisters, Charlotte Buettner (Carol Gooler) of Thousand Palms, California, and Ilene Starr of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; step-brother, Anthony Newman (Christa) of Lakeland; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
