H. William "Bill" Nyce

H. William "Bill" Nyce Jr of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at his residence.

Born April 16, 1931 in Kentucky to the late Mr. & Mrs. Holst William Nyce Sr; he has been a winter resident for 4 years coming from Endicott, NY. He was a Sales Agent with Nationwide Insurance Company for 27 years, of the Catholic faith, and a veteran of Korea, serving in the US Navy. He was also a school bus driver for Vestal School System and a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion in Endicott, NY. He enjoyed reading and was an avid Chicago Cubs and New York Mets fan.

Survivors include his wife, Genny Nyce of Frostproof; daughters, Virginia Furka (John) of Denville, NJ, Cathy Fiori (Gary) of Endicott, NY and Lenore Nyce of Endicott, NY; sons, H. William Nyce III (Sandra) of Endicott, NY and Glen "Ed" Nyce (Christa) of Syracuse, NY; step-son, Stephen Foy (Beth) of Upland, IN, 9 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 10 step-great-grandchildren.
