Gwendolyn M. Watford

Gwendolyn M. “Gwen” Watford, 77, 0f Lake Wales, Florida passed away Tuesday December 8, 2015 at the Lake Wales Medical Center. She was born on November 13, 1938 in Babson Park, Florida at the late Harold and Edna Mae (McClure) Hayden and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a retired Secretary for Vanguard School and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her daughter, Monica Watford of Los Angeles, CA; sons, Kevin Watford of Asheville, NC, Sidney Watford of lake Wales; sisters, Esther Hayden of Brise, Idaho, Jean Raulerson of Mont Verde, Florida, Donna Warren of Monticello, Florida; 1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Britt officiating. Interment will be held at the lake Wales Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 am until service.
