Gregory Joe Riley, Sr.

Gregory Joe Riley Sr of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at his residence.

He was born May 31, 1953 in Dothan, AL to the late Charles Britt & Wilma Jean (Jennings) Riley; and he came here from Tampa in 2006. He was an operations manager for Teco Energy. He was an avid fisherman and a fan of the University of Alabama and the Tampa Bay Rays.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Copeland Riley; son, Gregory J. Riley Jr of Tampa; step-son, Nick Dawson of Lithia; sister, Debbie Riley Gostomski of Waynesville, NC; nieces and nephew, Misti Chaney of Lake Wales, Tara Johnson of Lake Wales, Stacey Kolpin of Mulberry and Tony Howard of Gibsonton; two grandchildren, Joey and Sarah; two great-grandchildren and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. For those who wish, donations may be sent to the American Heart Association.
