GREGORY L. PHILLIPS, 58

Gregory L. Phillips of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 17, 1959 in Lake Wales, Florida. He has been a lifelong resident of the area and was a Teacher for the Head start program/ Peace River, Polk State College, Remington, College, Warner College and Tampa Tech. He worked at the family business “My Mother’s Cakes But Not Her Frosting”. He also worked in the Healthcare field for a few years, he was a House Manager for a group home at Peace River where he helped disabled people, he worked for Golden Vision Assisted living in St. Augustine and He taught severely disabled people at the St. Augustine center for the living. He was also a Photographer for Olan Mills.

He is preceded in death by his father Charles T. Phillips.

He is survived by his mother Patricia Phillips, brother Charles (Teddy) Phillips and wife Marilyn of Lake Wales, FL, nephews Todd and Trenton Miller.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 10:30 until service time at 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Nelson-Gill Chapel, 322 North Scenic Highway, Lake Wales, Florida 33853
