Gordon James Underly

Gordon James Underly of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the St. Petersburg General Hospital.

He was born July 22, 1935 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Harold Stanley & Rosalyn Callighan Underly; he came here from Richland, MI in 1996. He was retired from Meade Paper Products after 44 years and was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church. He had a great sense of humor, liked people, was fun loving and enjoyed life.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Lou Underly; son, John Richard Underly of Grand Rapids, MI; brother, Harold Stanley Underly, Jr. of Montana; and six grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Wayside Baptist Church in Lake Wales with Pastor Her Schlenker officiating.
