Gordon Eugene Rhen

Gordon Eugene Rhen, born on May 25, 1947, in Bagley, Minnesota, passed away on April 11, 2026, at his residence in Lake Wales, Florida. He lived a full life and was respected for his dedication and kindness.

Gordon served honorably in the United States Air Force. After his military service, he built a career as an accountant for The Bridge. Eight years ago, he moved to Lake Wales from Orlando.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruby Rhen. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Barbara Rhen; son, Mitch Rhen, of Altamonte Springs; step-daughter, Jeanne Jones of Lake Wales; step-son, Eric Duval of Largo; grandchildren, Evie Duvall, Chloe Duvall, Jaden Jones, and Matthew Jones; and brothers, Rick Rhen and wife Renetta of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and Russell Rhen, also from Thief River Falls.

A memorial service will be held to honor Gordon’s life on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Christ's Church On The Move. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
