EAGLE LAKE -- Mrs. Goldie L. Stacy of Eagle Lake died of heart failure Thursday (July 27, 2006). She was 85.

Born Aug. 10, 1920, in War Eagle, W.Va., Mrs. Stacy moved to Lake Wales in 1979. She moved to Eagle Lake last year. She was a homemaker. She attended Westside Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Lake Wales.

Mrs. Stacy was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Stacy. She is survived by her brother, Rennie Lowe, Beckley, W.Va.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
