LAKE WALES--Goldie Mills of Lake Wales, died Saturday, February 03, 2007 at her residence. She was 81.

Born July 03, 1924 in Logan, WV; she moved here from Syracuse, OH in 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of the Golfview Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Mills in 1993.

Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Royal of Lake Wales; Annette McGhee of Lake Wales; sons, Homer Mills of Pomeroy, OH; Randy Mills of Pomeroy, OH; sisters, Elestine McDaniels of Man, WV; Josie Browning of Pomeroy, OH; Geraldine Karnes of Lake Wales; Velva Amburgey of Lake Wales; 12 Grandchildren , 14 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 06, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 07, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Furno officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
