Gloria Jeanette Meyer

Gloria Jeanette Meyer of Lake Wales passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at the South Seminole Hospital in Longwood.

She was born January 7, 1939 in Spartanburg, SC; lived in Longwood from 1972-1985, then came to Lake Wales. Gloria was a homemaker and a member of the Lake Hamilton Baptist Church, where she was very active.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Meyer in 2007; and her father, Thomas Earl Jackson. Survivors include her sons, H. Warren Meyer III of Chandler, AZ and Kenneth L. Meyer of Longwood; mother, Flora J. Conner of Frostproof; sisters, Joyce Dale Latham, Candyce Linne, Faye Dease, and Alice Conner; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until the funeral service at 6:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Lake Hamilton Baptist Church, with Rev. Terrell Towns officiating.
