Gloria Hope Davis Lucas

Gloria Hope Davis Lucas of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Wedgewood Health Care Center in Lakeland.

She was born September 26, 1925 in Ealum, FL and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired lab technician for Ben Hill Griffin, a member of the Southside Baptist Church and a past member of the Eastern Star of Frostproof.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty Lassiter McGuire & husband, Timothy, of Belle Fourche, SD; son, Ed Lassiter of Lakeland; step-son, Lee Lucas of Georgia; sister, Wanda D. Chimenti of Frostproof; and two grandchildren, Kristie and Nicholas.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, March 30, 2009 at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
