GLORIA JEAN HATTEN, 70
Gloria J. Hatten of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at Advent Health Lake Wales.
She was born September 30, 1949 in Kenova, West Virginia to the late Clyde and Virginia L. (Meredith) Scarberry. She has been a resident of the area for 20 years. She was a Homemaker and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Gloria loved pets, cooking for her family, fishing and Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her brother Daniel J. Scarberry, sisters Loa Louise Hatten and Alisha Dare Holt.
She is survived by her husband Jackie D. Hatten, daughter Melissa Scott of Frostproof, FL, sons Jackie Hatten Jr. and wife Stephanie of Riverview, FL, John D. Hatten of Lakeland, FL, sister Carol Yerks of Lakeland, FL, brother David Scarberry of Sedwick, KS, and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 12:00 PM until service time at 1:00PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with interment at Silver Hill Cemetery.
