Gloria Forward-Abrams

Gloria Forward-Abrams of Lake Wales passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born February 8, 1929 in Utica, NY to the late Jerry D. & Margaret (Monaco) Alsante; she came here from Avon Park in 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of the Family Life Church in Frostproof. She was the former owner of DelView Restaurant in Newport, NY, a counselor at Hunter House in Utica, NY, was an avid mahjong player and enjoyed golfing.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Abrams. Survivors include his son, Bob Forward (Susan) of Lake Wales; brother, Raymond Alsante of Utica, NY; granddaughter, Elizabeth Heli and a great-grandson, John Heli.

A private memorial service will be held.
