Glen Ray Lister

Glen Ray Lister of Frostproof passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at his residence.

He was born August 7, 1944 in Sailor Springs, IL to the late Kenneth & Myrtle Lister; and he came here from Illinois 30 years ago. He was a ranch hand at FX Bar Ranch and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed the eagles and moose.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Eileen Cockran. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Barbara Lister; sons, Glen Ray Lister, Jr, Marvin Lister and Glenie Alan Baisinger all of Illinois; sister, Thelma Boyd of Illinois; brothers, Wayne Lister of Colorado, Marvin Lister of Arizona and Leon Lister of Illinois; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Burial will take place at Bunker Cemetery in Rinard, IL.
