Gladys L Waski

Gladys L. Waski, 79 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Lake Wales Medical Center. She was born December 13, 1936 in Teaneck, New Jersey to the late Edward and Louise A. (Greene) Hasse, Sr. and she has been a resident of this area since 1973 moving here from Northvale, New Jersey. She was a retired Para Professional for Babson Park Elementary School and she was a past member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Gladys was the Past President of PTA in New Jersey, a member and past president of Caloosa Volunteer Fire Department, Volunteer at Lake Ashton and loved to play bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin J. Waski, Jr in 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Waski Helm and husband Wayne of Lake Wales, son, Ken Waski and his wife Jinny of Jacksonville, sisters, Elizabeth Hayes and her husband Havis of NC, Joyce Peak and her husband David of NC; 3 grandchildren, Luke Waski and wife Rachel, Lauren Anderson and husband Spencer and Lindsey Waski; 3 great grandchildren, Logan, Liam and Reese Waski. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the funeral Home. Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Cothern officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
