Gladys Guzman Figueroa

Gladys Guzman Figueroa, 78, of Lakes Wales passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

She was born January 21, 1945, in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, to the late Juan and Leonildes Guzman. Gladys was a seamstress and of the Catholic faith.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Leonildes Guzman. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jacinto Figueroa; sons, Edwin Figueroa of Lake Wales, Edward Figueroa of Lake Wales, Raynaldo Figueroa and wife Margarita of Winter Haven; daughter, Michelle Figueroa and partner Virgil Brewington of Poinciana; brother, Rene Guzman of Philadelphia; 16 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.

The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
