Giovanni Diaz

Giovanni Diaz, 15, of Lake Wales, passed away March 19, 2018.

He was born on January 16, 2003 in Sebring, FL to Jose Diaz and Nikki McNabb. Gio was an awesome big brother, who loved and cared for friends and family. He loved music, skate boarding, fishing, video games and was one of the few people who could figure out a Rubic’s Cube. He had a heart of gold and saw the good in everyone. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom McNabb.

He is survived by his Mom, Nikki McNabb and Rex Haynes of Lake Wales; his father Jose Diaz and Dionne Coates of Jacksonville; Sister Natasha Diaz of Lincoln, NE and brothers Elijah Rodriguez and Aaron Partain of Lake Wales, Genaro Coates and Daniel Vazquez both of Jacksonville; his maternal grandmother, Edna McNabb of Lake Wales; paternal grandparents Pedro and Viviana Diaz; uncles Don McNabb, Eddie, Manuel and Jimmy Diaz.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 6:00 PM until the service time at 7:00PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. David Durham officiating.
