Gertrude L. Daniel

Gertrude L. Daniel, 97 of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at The Springs at Boca Ciega Bay in South Pasadena, Florida. She was born on April 10, 1918 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Fred and Elsa (Main) Loop and she has been a resident of Florida since 1923 moving here from Ohio. She was retired from the University of Florida in Medical Records after 19 years. She attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater and Wayside Baptist Church of Lake Wales. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Roberts in 2015; grandson, Kevin Roberts; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Louise Belich of St. Petersburg; sons, Lee E. Daniel, Jr. of Mesa, AZ, Roger T. Daniel of Elmore, AL; sisters, Esther Simpson of Forsyth, Ga, Lilly Grubbs of Lake Wales; 5 grandchildren, Angie Martin, Mary King, John Belich, Jr., Chris Roberts and Andrew Belich; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Herb Schlenker officiating.
