Geraldine Ann Valtinson, 83

Geraldine Ann Valtinson of Indian Lake Estates passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at Advent Health Celebration.

She was born September 10, 1937 in Bottle, South Dakota, to the late Harry and Cecelia Hein; she moved to Lake Wales from Miami in 1999. Geraldine was a homemaker and was a member of Holy Spirt Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, baking, and reading.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin “Bud” Valtinson in 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Valtinson of Indian Lake Estates; son, Steve Valtinson and wife Dabney of Longwood; sisters, Nadine Griner of Lebanon, Oregon, and Bonnie Hein of Fergus Falls, Minnesota; brothers, Gerald Hein and wife Jeanne of Minnesota, Daryle Hein and wife Carol of Bath, South Dakota, David Hein of North Carolina, Virgil Hein and wife Deanna of Austin, Texas, and Frank Hein and wife Kathy of Windham, Minnesota; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 6, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father David Vargas officiating.
