Geraldine Ruth Rafeld

Geraldine Ruth Rafeld of Dundee passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at The Bridge of Ocala.

She was born January 26, 1926, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late Herman and Emma Frederick; she came to Florida from Ann Arbor in 1993. She was an active member of the Lake Wales Lutheran Church and enjoyed embroidery.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her grandson, Maj. Jonathan Scheer.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence J. “Jeep” Rafeld; daughter, Carol Lynn and her husband, Rev. Ronald Scheer of Ocala; brother, Herbert Frederick of Ann Arbor, MI; granddaughter, Pamela Bailey and husband, David; and two great-grandchildren, JP and Kyle.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Lake Wales Lutheran Church with Dr. John Glamann officiating.
