Gerald Sullivan of Winter Haven passed away Friday, May 8, 2009 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born October 21, 1936 in Kissimmee to the late Curtis Theodore & Cynthia C. (Bridges) Sullivan. He was a retired cowboy, was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Army. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family. He also loved to read his bible.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Barbara J. Sullivan; daughter, Carrie Lynn Sullivan of Winter Haven; sons, Curtis P. Sullivan of Oklahoma, Kenneth Gerald Sullivan of Zephyrhills, Scott Matthew Sullivan of Winter Haven and James Clay Sullivan of Frostproof; sisters, Virginia Elizabeth McCook of Trenton and Sylvia M. Sullivan of Polk City; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church in Davenport with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. The interment will follow at the Oak Hill Church Cemetery in Loughman.
