Gerald C. Anderson, 66, of Winter Haven, passed away Friday, February 23 at the George C. Forsythe Hospice House
in Auburndale.
Born September 9, 1951 in Donaldsonville, Georgia to the late John and Betty (Corley) Anderson, he moved to
Winter Haven from Lake Wales 13 years ago. He was a bus mechanic for the school board and was a member
of the Impact Church in Lake Wales.
Survivors include his wife Debbie Anderson of Winter Haven; son Christopher Anderson of Jacksonville and
step daughters Melissa Edwards and her husband Lamond, of Jacksonville and Alisha Florence and her husband
Chris, of Winter Haven; sisters: Martha Wilson, Becky Jones and her husband Randy all of Williston, FL, and Bev
Beasley of Lake Wales; brothers Buddy Anderson and wife Sharon of Jacksonville and David Clemons and wife
Lydia of Lake Wales; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held at Impact Church in Lake Wales on Tuesday, February 27 at 1:00 PM with
Pastor Walter Nelson officiating.
