Georgianna “Frog” Hawkins, 70, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, June 8, 2008 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born June 27, 1937 in St. Louis, MO; she moved to Frostproof in 1992 from Mt. Vernon, IL and came to Lake Wales 2 months ago. She was a homemaker and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was also a small business owner of an ice cream wagon at the Sunshine Flea Market and a member of the Eastern Star in Summersville, MO. She also enjoyed bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence D. “Bud” Hawkins of Lake Wales; daughter, Grace Eckstein of Champain, IL; sons, Danny Hawkins Jr of East Alton, IL, William E. “Bill” Hawkins of Frostproof and David L. Hawkins of Wood River, IL; brother, Henry Hiles of Poplar Bluff, MO; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
