Georgianna W. Collins, 86

Georgianna W. Collins of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her residence.

She was born September 18, 1936 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late George and Annie Walko; she moved to Frostproof from Valdosta, Georgia in 1957. Georgianna was a homemaker and volunteered at God’s Family Christian Church. She enjoyed music, playing the piano, singing, and decorating. She attended God’s Family Assembly.

Georgianna was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. M.C. Collins in 2001; two brothers; one sister. She is survived by her daughters, Faye Hobbs and husband Larry of Haines City and Donna Nutt of Frostproof; son, Rev. Wrynn Collins and wife Sherrie of Frostproof; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-greatgrandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Wrynn Collins, Rev. Keith Lightsey, Rev. Danny Cook, and Ms. Wanda Keele officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.
