George Woroniec, 89

George Woroniec of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Grace Healthcare in Lake Wales.

He was born February 5, 1931 in Pittstown, New Jersey to the late John Woroniec. George moved to Lake Wales from Lakeland over 20 years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Woroniec in 1987; and brother, Frank Woroniec. He is survived by his son, John Woroniec and wife Carol of Alpha, New Jersey; friend, Martha Hammack; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
