GEORGE WALTER SIWINSKI, 78

WINTER HAVEN--George Walter Siwinski, 78, of Winter Haven died of cancer Friday, May 18, 2007 at his residence.

Born June 05, 1928 in Baltimore, MD; a retired chemical engineer from FMC he and his wife came here from Youngstown, NY in 1991. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales, the Lake Wales Elks Lodge #1974 and the Winter Haven Moose Lodge #1023. He was a Eucharistic Minister for the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was an avid photographer and reader.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Agnes Siwinski of Winter Haven; daughters, Melissa A. Napoli of Lockport, NY; Joanne M. Siwinski of Rochester, NY; sons, Paul M. & Carla Siwinski of Youngstown, NY; Arthur K. Siwinski of Ransomville, NY; sister, Clem Lezon of Salisbury, MD; and 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in New York. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
